Girl, I just deleted you from my links on The Nurse Practitioner's Place because you hadn't updated in so long. I was clicking through the ones I had put on NP's Place at www.npplace.com and I'm glad I did cause here you are again! Check out the new site and put up a link to it if you would. Thanks!

You inspired me to do my own VLOG. It's very comforting to know there are other folks out there who went into nursing for some of the same reasons. I'm going to link you to my blog. Please feel free to add me to your. Thanks!

Oh Monika,

I am so sorry to hear about your grandmother and you loss off Leeloo -
I was so stunned to hear it, it was like getting hit in the chest! : (

Don't second guess yourself on how you cared for LeeLoo - looking good, acting good, eating like a little pig...how could you have known?

I'm excited to hear you are in home health and I'm looking forward to some new vlogs on that front!

I'm so sorry for your loss of your grandmother. Being a grandmother myself I'm sure you were the sunshine in her life. I'm sorry you lost your beloved pet. Pets add such a dimension to our lives it is very difficult when we loose them. I'm sure you did your very best caring for your grandmother and in caring for LeeLoo.

I appreciate your advice about homecare. Whether I work in homecare in the future or not, I will always remember to try to understand my patient's experience from their point of view, and to keep in mind the challenges they may be facing that are not readily apparent from speaking with them or observing them in a hospital setting. Thanks for helping us open our eyes. After watching a few of your posts, I think this should be called the Compassionate Nurse Vlog.
