Park Slope Dawn, 6:30 AM

Shot this little neighborhood tour this morning when I arrived at my gym to find it closed. It's a little dark and (Dramamine alert) shaky. Sorry, clearly my walking and shooting technique needs a little work... I hope you like it anyway!

And you're awake at 6am on a vacation day because...WHY? Wow, that's some serious gym-dedication. Good for you!

I actually hate having to wake up in the morning to go to work (one of the many reason I work nights--I'd NEVER make it to the hospital by 7am) but I love being awake that early on my days off. It's nice to feel like you have the city to yourself, and it's so pretty when the sky gets lighter!

I do sometimes feel like a freak when I'm walking around with the camera. To keep from having to talk to myself, I like to add the voice-over later.

Thanks for sharing this on wayfaring, by the way.

How cold was it out there? That walk alone seemed like pretty good exercise all by itself! I believe it is easier to stay up until 6 than to get up at 6!

I had a good laugh with your soundbyte from Woodstock at the end.

I don't care if the video's shaky. I commend you for doing it! I should get my act together and get my camera going, but I am not sure I have enough space to post videos. You can get a glimpse of the prairie:)
