Reflections on my OB clinical rotation, the home strech of this semester in nursing school, and life in general. Things are definitely looking up. Now it's time to study, study, study for finals next week. Then it's three weeks off before summer session!

I'm glad you actually got to see a birth! Those darn babies seem to avoid students. It's totally weird. During my OB rotation I saw one. Lame.
Wild, isn't it! All the sudden-poof!--there's another person in the rom who wasn't there before! And yes, all Hell DOES break loose when a woman in seriously active labor walks through the door. You always hope it happens on slow enough nights that you can get enough hands to help you with everything. Sometimes those babies come quick!
I'm glad you enjoyed your rotation. COME WORK IN L&D!!
Good luck on finals!
You got to done by now. Relieved?
Tiesha... I wish... Finals M, T, W then I will be relieved. Thanks, though!
Thanks, Birdy - all the best to you, too!
So um, Missb, any specific hospitals you would recommend? ;-)
Our dean was a L&D nurse and she said it's the best place to work b/c the docs don't show up till you call them;)
