It's very much the home stretch and I am so sorry not to have been posting. My camera died, so I am down to only my webcam and this has definitely cramped my style in a big way. Lots of stuff has happened and I promise to post on it soon!

Change of Shift

"Change of Shift" is up at Emergiblog. Check it out. It's kind of a nursing-centric version of "Grand Rounds" which rocks, too. A "best of" tour of the nurse blogosphere this month. Good stuff.

Last week I had the priviledge of spending a clinical day in the Emergency Department. It was an amazing, eye-opening experience. Hats off to ER nurses - you are a special breed. When the s@%t hits the fan, these folks are the embodiment of TEAMWORK. It was amazing to see what can be accomplished when a commited group of people band together for a greater purpose - the preservation of a human life.
